"Solo mom of two toddlers, currently almost 5 yo and 2.5 yo. Meig has been our sitter and family friend since the moment we met in July 2024, when my youngest was about 10 mo. Both of my children adore their time with Meig and her daughter. She has toys that span Montessori (e.g., play kitchen, baby doll highchair) to those that help release energy and help with sensory integration (e.g., an indoor, enclosed trampoline, a disc swing on the patio), and facilitates activities to spark creativity and independence (e.g., prepping snacks with caregiver assistance). She’s incredibly reliable — I don’t think she’s ever said she was unavailable for providing care, even offering overnight care, and she’s never flaked after saying she can watch my kids. After my kids willingly run into her place (aka no clinging), I don’t have to check my phone every few minutes. However, within minutes of arriving, she’ll send pics of them and their sweet smiles, allowing my mind to relax and enjoy my time away. She’s very communicative and open to feedback, should you have a preference on how certain activities get accomplished. I prefer a more laissez-faire approach, which I can do with her, because I so deeply trust her caregiving skills and instincts. The only drawback is that we aren’t neighbors, so I can’t see her more regularly."

"Hey moms…if you're looking for someone you can truly trust to care for your little one, I can't recommend Meighan enough. 🤍 We met her right before Greycen turned one, clicked instantly, and she's been a constant, loving presence ever since. Greycen (now 4 and about to start Pre-K) absolutely adores her and her bestie Ady, Meighan's daughter. She talks about them constantly, asks to call them on vacation, and always wants to share her proud little moments with them. Meighan watches kids in her home, and it is such a loving, safe, and intentional environment. She is licensed with the state, and you can truly feel the care she puts into everything she does. She doesn't just "watch" the kids. She truly engages with them. Hands-on learning, crafts they bring home, outdoor play, sprinkler days, walks to the playground, and even a little fairy garden she created just for them. It is so intentional and full of love. She also set up a calm nap space just for Greycen and even bought a noise machine out of her own pocket when she realized it helped her sleep better. That small act meant so much to me. Our time with Meighan in this season is coming to an end as Greycen starts Pre-K, but not our friendship or the friendship the girls have built. That part is forever. If you are looking, she does have spots available. Her in-home daycare is Meg's Magic Moments, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. Having someone you trust with your whole heart is a blessing and Meighan is exactly that for our family 🤍"
